This was a private annual event for the client and they had requested that the images of participants not be posted publicly.

The client wanted images that showed everyone having a great time, along with branded decorative elements, the hired entertainment, and the ceremony.

A site visit was needed prior to the event to familiarize myself with the area and to plan out my equipment for the day and evening accordingly. The entire shoot was just about 5-hours split by a 1-hour break.

The approach I took to the images was to create a naturally bright looking environment. My approach was to use as much natural light as possible. Flash was used sparingly and only used with a strategic bounce light to make the light look natural.

I had created a work station to deliver a selection of images during a 1-hour break. This meant - selecting, editing, and delivering 10 within that time period.

The clients really appreciated the speed and the look of the images which were delivered within a week of the event.
