Tai O Heritage Hotel

My heart was pounding as I was perched upon the balcony like a sniper waiting for their target. As the boat approached the dock the air was filled with anticipation. In an instant, the scurrying footsteps and whispers turned into a dead silence almost as if Sam & Ashley would be able to hear us over the sounds of the sea all the way from the bottom of the hill.

From the top of the hill you could already see their love for each other. the moment they got off the boat, they shared a kiss on the pier upon the vastness of the sea and sky.

As they approached the Tai O Heritage Hotel everyone got into their positions and waited for the decisive moment. Hidden, we watched and listened to a live feed of the hallway where Sam had planned propose. As they went into the escape room. Eugene and I scurried across the hallway securing the fairy lights to the railings. It was a tense experience. Tangled wires and a time crunch are never a good mix. 

Moments passed and we had returned to our hiding locations, we waited and waited. Finally a sound, the crack of their door and the emergence footsteps. Backlit by the setting summer sun, Sam knelt down and proposed. It was one of the most picturesque scenes I’ve witnessed.

Shooting Sam & Ashley was a delight. Always laughing and having a good time with each other, their happiness was infectious. Congratulations once again!
